Or maybe you've lost interest in things that used to make you feel happy or satisfied. It might be affecting your sleep, your work, or your relationships.
For many of us, we are so focused on taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. This can be especially true in motherhood and parenting. It is so easy to push our needs aside and take care of others. During pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood, it is a unique time period and opportunity to show ourselves how to take care of US so that we can take care of others. We can do this through therapy.
As your therapist, I especially understand the unique challenge of parenting during a pandemic and how that has changed the roadmap for prenatal/postpartum medical care, birth plans, family and friend support during and after giving birth, and navigating the complexities of parenting during this time period.
